ON Summer Camp 2026: What Six Days of European Football Development Looks Like

From August 3 to 10 Olympique National Beirut hosted its most ambitious summer program to date. Over six consecutive days, more than 100 players across 6 age groups trained under a structured European development methodology at one of Beirut's most active football facilities, coached by a staff of 15 professionals led by Technical Director Paco Araujo.

This was not a holiday camp. It was a full development program built on the same positional play, pressing mechanics, and decision-making principles that define football at the highest level in Spain.

The Program

Every session at ON Summer Camp 2026 was structured around the Girona FC methodology. Across 200 technical sessions, players worked through positional play concepts, 1v1 and small-sided game situations, pressing and defensive organization, and intelligent competition, all adapted to each age group and ability level.

The camp ran across 6 distinct age categories, ensuring that every player was challenged at the right level and developed within a group that matched their stage of growth. Foundation age players received an introduction to the game built on joy, movement, and basic technical habits. Older groups worked through more complex tactical concepts and competitive scenarios.

Competition Day

The final days of the camp culminated in a full competition format, with teams competing across age categories in front of families, coaches, and sponsors. The energy on the pitch reflected six days of work. Players competed with composure, read the game with clarity, and carried themselves with the confidence that structured development builds over time.

The closing ceremony recognized excellence across every category. Bespoke medals were awarded to gold and silver finishers and every participating player and coach. 35 prizes were distributed across individual award categories including top scorer, top assist, best goalkeeper, and best player of the camp.

The Girona FC Pathway

The moment that defined what ON Summer Camp 2026 stood for beyond the results came at the ceremony: 10 players were selected for elite trips to train at Girona FC facilities in Spain, continuing the partnership that saw ON's U9 and U11 squads travel to the Costa Girona Cup just weeks earlier.

For those 10 players, the camp was not the destination. It was the starting point.

The Partners Behind It

ON Summer Camp 2026 was made possible through the support of partners who share the academy's belief in raising the standard of Lebanese youth football. Their presence was felt across every session, every medal, and every moment of the closing ceremony, and their contribution directly enabled the prizes, the recognition, and the opportunities that players took home with them.
